Lately, I have been working too much and I feel exhausted and old. So, I will take a break until 24 June, when normal service will resume.
Until then, and because my wife tells me I should share my feelings more, let me share my feelings about getting old with you:
Did you know that we are closer to the year 2050 than the year 1992 when Bill Clinton was elected President and “Smells Like Teen Spirit” from Nirvana stormed the charts?
Did you know that one-third of financial analysts and money managers have no firsthand experience of the Financial Crisis?
And if we assume that people don’t remember things before age 5 or 6 the majority of the US population has no memory of the 1987 stock market crash. For further depressing information please refer to the chart below.

LOL I remember 87 bc I was on the trading floor at First Boston. And 93 bc I was at Drexel when they went under. Life is long, Joachim; the lovely man, the father of my children (I was pregnant when Drexel filed) is long dead of cancer. Enjoy the summer, the day, your wife, your children.
