Are we ugly too?

This is exactly the sort of report for which the term "truthiness" was invented https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truthiness .

The author of this review https://sherwood.news/culture/unpacking-economic-study-which-found-hot-people-arent-big-gamers/ comes to the wrong conclusion on the paper just because *he* interprets it as confirming his preconceptions ... which is irresponsible as those reading *his* take are unlikely to read the paper.

"Priors confirmed, back to work everyone. ... I’m reminded of why I hated microeconomics, even when it’s statistically correct. Especially when it’s statistically correct."

Ironically, I saw the Sherwood post a couple of weeks back and though ti was irresponsible, too. Not a sign of quality, for sure.

Ahh, the incel geeks. And if they spend so much time gaming, they are probably fat as well. Nothing worse than being fat and ugly...unless they are dumb too: fat, ugly and dumb. And if they are fat, dumb and ugly they are probably broke too spending all their money on gaming. Nothing worse than being fat, ugly, dumb and broke. Their revenge is to get jobs in Silicon Valley...

I am gradually learning not to take the title of your posts too seriously until I read the entire post... 😉
