Now do the web of Democratic-affiliated NGOs funded by the government and backers like Reid Hoffman, Laurene Powell Jobs etc. Also green energy companies (Solyndra anyone?). Patronage for the backers of the victor is a universal phenomenon across parties and eras, not sure why under Trump it’s a kleptocracy but under Obama or Biden it’s A-OK.

Very insightful research, thank you. Yes, there is an increasing ‘insider capitalism’ and most of us are on the outside. Coupled with the ‘broligarchy’ -tech bro billionaire cabal - it does fell like the last stage of empire collapse, the age of decadence. Good riddance…

Some other doors are being pushed open as well:

Of course this isn't really a new one, it's just that republican senator Hawley is trying to reign in his fellow politician. Led by a crocodile, pardon, by one of Trump's biggest opposers, Nancy Pelosi.

Then we have Biden's 2024 run-for-our-money dash as the dems understood Harris was a hopeless candidate. Only shooting Trump would have altered that. Now wait a minute...

WASHINGTON (TNND) — The Biden administration gave at least $20 billion to “environmental groups,” most of which were founded not long before receiving the funds, The New York Post reported Wednesday.

https://abc3340.com/news/nation-world/biden-administration-gave-billions-to-green-groups-founded-shortly-before-report-says

And then we have our lovely EU, with its clap-cattle Parliament, a Commission executing the niceties the European Council comes up with, while we don't know anything about what the Council discusses since no minutes are taken:

NGOs funded in “non-transparent” manner. Court of Auditors’ attack on European Commission

https://www.eunews.it/en/2025/04/07/ngos-funded-in-non-transparent-manner-court-of-auditors-attack-on-european-commission/

“However, although some progress has been observed since the last audit we conducted,” she continued, “the picture remains unclear, as information on funding to NGOs, including for lobbying activities, is neither reliable nor transparent.”

Between 2021 and 2023, NGOs were awarded €7.4 billion under the EU’s internal policies related to, for example, cohesion, research, migration, and the environment.'

Well look at that...

'Cohesion, research, migration, and the environment' - For the environment obviously read: 'our boiling, collapsing, out-of-control, doomed climate'. You wonder how ordinary people can still enjoy their holidays...In the sun no less).

Now whose interests are those?

What do we see in both the US and the EU?

Climate-as-a-vehicle-for-self-’ímprovement’...

A curious ad, with debatable assumptions "Private Equity has outperformed global stock markets over the past 25 years"

Wall Street opens the doors of PE to retailers and that's actually a bad thing, isn't it? "We have been beating the market for 25 years, come and invest with us (i.e. we need more money to fund it or everything blows up). 2008 was made up of CDOs, what about a great PE ETF today?
